About Austin Opera Orchestra

The Austin Opera Orchestra is a highly professional orchestra that performs approximately three productions each year in Austin, Texas.  The Austin Opera Orchestra is not a full-time orchestra.  The scheduling for services for each production is generally spread over a 2-3 week period.  Austin Opera does not provide any housing or travel.  The Austin opera Orchestra operates under a master contract negotiated between Austin Opera and Local AFM 433.
