Position Details
The UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra is seeking a bass trombonist for a full-time permanent position. The orchestra offers an opportunity to work in a high-level professional big band that is among the leading jazz orchestras in Europe.
Requirements
The orchestra is looking for a motivated and versatile musician with a strong interest in big band music. The position requires excellent skills on both bass trombone and tenor trombone, as well as readiness to improvise. In the audition evaluation, emphasis will be placed on written section playing over improvisation.
