Position Overview
The Belgian National Orchestra is seeking a Cello Soloist with the obligation to serve as 1st Soloist. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues within the cello section, the section leader, and all other colleagues employed at the orchestra.
Responsibilities
The musician will interpret and perform all orchestral parts for cello and contribute to outstanding performances. They will ensure coordination within the cello section during rehearsals, performances, and recordings to help the section function optimally. The position requires exemplary professional behavior befitting the role. Additionally, the successful candidate will participate in auditions and act as a coach for occasional academy students or additional players within the section.
