Concertmaster
The Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava invites applications for the position of Concertmaster.

Application Requirements
Applicants are kindly requested to submit:
- Brief professional CV and a copy of the highest attained degree certificate in Music (minimum requirement: completed university degree in the relevant speciality)
- Personal data processing (GDPR) consent

Audition Repertoire
Mozart – one of the following Concertos for Violin (1st and 2nd Movement with cadenza):
- No. 3, KV 216
- No. 4, KV 218
- No. 5, KV 219
One concerto (1st Movement with cadenza) from:
- L. van Beethoven, J. Brahms, P.I. Tchaikovsky, A. Dvořák, J. Sibelius, or F. Mendelssohn (E minor)
J.S. Bach – one piece from the 6 Violin Sonatas and Partitas, BWV 1001–1006
Additionally: orchestral excerpts / solo excerpts from the standard repertoire, and sight reading.
The audition will consist of three rounds; the 3rd round is a rehearsal with the orchestra. Should candidates require a répétiteur (provided free of charge by SND), they are asked to submit the score at least 2 weeks prior to the audition. Candidates may also bring their own accompanist at their own expense.
Compensation
Starting salary of €2,200 gross plus artistic and personal bonuses, with 1-week extra leave in addition to the legally mandated vacation.
