Position: 1st Soloist Flute with obligation 2nd Flute
The Belgian National Orchestra is seeking a 1st Soloist Flute with obligation 2nd Flute.
Role and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work closely with colleagues within the flute section, the section leader, and all other musicians employed at the Belgian National Orchestra. The role involves interpreting and performing all orchestral parts for flute while contributing to outstanding performances.
Key responsibilities include ensuring coordination within the section during rehearsals, performances, and recordings to optimize the section’s function. The position requires exemplary behavior befitting the role, participation in auditions, and coaching of occasional academy students or additional players within the section.
