About MusAid Teaching Artist Summer Lab

MusAid is a 501(c)3 organization that connects musicians across the globe through educational exchanges designed to inspire individual and community transformation.

Using music as a tool for social change, we partner with music organizations that empower and inspire underserved and marginalized youth. To help create a more sustainable future for our partner organizations, we lead workshops for students, teacher-training seminars, and many other capacity building programs.

The summer teaching artist lab offers musicians the unique opportunity to perform and teach at socially driven music programs around the world during two-week summer workshops. MusAid Teaching Artists teach, perform and explore a new culture while also learning teaching strategies from internationally renowned MusAid faculty.  Through our innovative program, MusAid seeks to empower a new generation of globally aware teaching artists and performers. Each lab includes a two-day teacher training component led by MusAid faculty and a two-week hands-on workshop.
