Sarasota Orchestra is seeking candidates for Per Service Section Violin — three positions available for the 2026–2027 season.
Positions Available
- 1 position: Temporarily core during the 2026–2027 season. Full season salary: $49,847.28 + Benefits. Beginning in 2027–28: 65 Service Minimum Guarantee.
- 2 positions (1-year): 65 Service Minimum Guarantee. Per service rate: $187.49 per service (2026–2027).
Audition Details
- Audition date: Monday, September 14, 2026
- This will be a single-day audition with all rounds held on the same day.
- Employment to begin October 2026.
- Season length: 36 weeks (includes 2 paid vacation weeks).
The audition committee reserves the right to dismiss any candidate not meeting the highest professional standards. Musicians hired by Sarasota Orchestra are responsible for maintaining proper authorization to work in the United States.
