Västerås Sinfonietta is seeking a Principal Double Bass for a 75% permanent position with a trial period.
Audition Details
The audition will take place by personal invitation on May 29, 2026 at Västerås Concert Hall (Västerås Konserthus), Lilla salen.
Orchestra tuning: A=442.
Compulsory Works
- Dittersdorf: Concerto No. 2, 1st movement with the Gruber cadenza, and 2nd movement without cadenza
- Bottesini: Concerto No. 2, 1st movement with cadenza

Eligibility
Please note: A Swedish law requires either a Swedish work permit or citizenship of a country within the European Union for eligibility for employment in Sweden. Applicants from outside the EU cannot be accepted, as the part-time salary does not qualify for a work permit.
