Principal Timpani
Audition dates: Thursday 10 September & Friday 11 September 2026. Applicants must be available from 10am – 4:30pm both days.
Applications close: Wednesday 12 August 5pm AEST
Recorded auditions due: Tuesday 8 September 5pm AEST
Eligibility: This audition is open to Australian & New Zealand Citizens, and Australian Permanent Residents only.
Set Repertoire
Applicants must prepare two set works and orchestral excerpts:
- Franz Kruger – Etude No. 45 for Timpani
- Jacques Delécluse – Etude No. 1 from “Méthode de Timbales”
