Répétiteur / Vocal Coach — Opera Soloists Department

Main Responsibilities

• Accompany musical and stage rehearsals for new productions and current repertoire performances
• Lead individual and group coaching sessions with opera soloists according to the production’s music director’s requirements
• Assist opera soloists in preparing new roles, current repertoire roles, and concert repertoire
• Perform during opera performances that include accompanied recitatives
• Inform the production’s music director about the musical preparation of the soloists

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Piano Performance or a related field
• Professional experience working with soloists
• Fluent English communication skills; knowledge of Italian, French, or German is an advantage

Audition Details

• Date: June 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM — Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, Vilnius
• Application Deadline: June 15, 2026 (inclusive)

Audition Structure

1. Solo Performance: First movement of a Romantic period or 20th-century sonata (approx. 10 minutes)
2. Work with a soloist: Excerpts from Don Giovanni by Mozart — the accompanied recitative of Don Ottavio and Donna Anna, Donna Anna’s aria, and Don Giovanni’s aria
3. Sight-reading (approx. 5 minutes)
