Key dates Applications open: Wednesday 16 June 2026 Excerpts released for live auditions: Thursday 16 July 2026, or four weeks prior to a confirmed recording date Applications close: Thursday 30 July 2026, 4pmFinal deadline for recorded submissions: Two days following a confirmed recording date, but no later than Thursday 6 August 2026 Audition dates: Thursday 13 and Friday 14 August 2026 Salary range $99,988 – $104,730 AUD. If applicants are unable to travel to Hobart, the TSO will accept recorded auditions. Applicants must be available for both audition days.
