Overview
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic musician of the highest international calibre to the position of Sub-Principal Viola. As one of two Sub-Principal positions (No. 3 & 4), these two seats rotate regularly within the section with sitting up to Principal when required.You’ll play a key part in how we rehearse and perform – supporting the Section Leader and Principal Viola, whilst also working with colleagues across the orchestra and Classical team.Based at The Glasshouse International Centre for MusicDeadline 17.00 on Friday 5th September 2025Reports to Senior Orchestra & Personnel ManagerWorks closely with Executive Director, RNS and the wider Classical teamIf you bring musical excellence, clear leadership, and a strong sense of collaboration, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
