The Atlanta Opera is seeking violists for their orchestra. This is an AFM Union engagement, and musicians work under the current CBA Agreement.

- TAO does not offer financial assistance for auditions
- Warmup space is limited at the audition venue—please be prepared for a limited time to warm up before your audition time slot
About the Position
The TAO Season includes 4 Mainstage Productions and 2 Discovery Productions annually, running from August through May. Not all musicians are contracted to play all productions. The average number of services per production is 10.
The winner of the audition will be expected to accept the 2026/27 Mainstage Season, which runs approximately October through early June. Information on productions for the 2026-27 season will be announced in the new year.
Note: The winner of the audition must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be required to provide documentation verifying identity and employment eligibility as part of the onboarding process.
