Join the Orchestra of the State Opera-Ruse
The State Opera-Ruse is a renowned cultural institution with over a century of history, comprised of a professional orchestra, a choir, a ballet, and a team of outstanding soloists. We are one of the leading ensembles in Bulgaria, having performed under the baton of world-famous conductors such as Kurt Mazur, Carlo Zecchi, Dmitry Kitaenko, Kurt Sanderling, Evgeny Svetlanov, and Valery Gergiev.
A Legacy of Musical Excellence
Our orchestra has a rich history of collaboration with eminent musicians like Dmitri Shostakovich, Franco Ferrara, Carlo-Maria Giulini, Katia Ricciarelli, Boris Belkin, and Yuri Bashmet. We have toured internationally, with performances in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Portugal, and the USA. Our work is preserved in the Golden Funds of the Bulgarian National Radio and the Berlin Radio, as well as on various CD and gramophone recordings for European and American companies.
