Viola Tutti – Swedish Chamber Orchestra
The Swedish Chamber Orchestra, led by chief conductor Martin Fröst, is a full-time ensemble of 39 musicians based in Örebro, two hours west of Stockholm. The orchestra performs around 90 concerts annually, including national and international tours (Lincoln Center, BBC Proms, Salzburger Festspiele, venues across Europe and Japan).
Each orchestra member has access to a private practice room at the Örebro Concert Hall. The ensemble records for labels including BIS, Sony Classics, Naxos, Hyperion, SIMAX, Chandos, and SONY.
