Introduction
Anđela Stanković was born on 18th December 1998, in Novi Sad, Serbia. She started playing harp in 2008 in class of mr Željka Sponza in Primary music school “Isidor Bajić”. Since 2010 she was in class of professor Mina Momčilović, who was also her teacher later in Secondary music school ”Isidor Bajić“. In 2015, Anđela started studying at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad two years in advance, because of her great talent. In July 2020 Anđela got her Master degree with highest grades.
She had many performances in Serbia and abroad, and won lots of prizes on competitions, among which are:
from 2011-2019: First prizes at Vojvodina Harp Festival, in Zrenjanin,Serbia
2010: Silver Plaque at International Competition of Slovene Harp Association
2012: First prize at Republic Competition, in Belgrade, Serbia
2016: First prize at 7th International Young Musicians Competition ”Antonio Salieri”, in Legnago,Italy
2016: Special prize of Szeged city at 4th International Harp Competition, in Szeged, Hungary
2017: First prize at International Competition “Petar Konjović”, in Novi Sad,Serbia
2018: participated in second stage of 20th Israel Harp Contest
2019: First prize at International Competition “Petar Konjović”, in Novi Sad, Serbia
2019: Second prize at International harp competition „Suoni d’Arpa“ in Italy
2020: Second prize at the Online Russian Harp Contest for the best performance of a piece by J.S. Bach
Some of her most notable performances are a solo recital in Paris, a concert at Belgrade Harp Festival, a performance at the Glowing Harp online festival, including many others.
This year she has been chosen by her University as one of the 3 most successfull students.
Anđela performed with Secondary Music School “Isidor Bajić” Symphony Orchestra, Academy of Arts Symphony Orchestra, El Sistema Orchestra.
She attended masterclasses held by Ion Ivan Roncea, Chantal Mathieu, Remy van Kesteren, Nicoletta Sanzin.
She has a teaching experience with Primary and Secondary school students.
Anđela speaks Serbian, English, French and Spanish.
