Introduction
Anna Soriano Serrano (02-02-1996) is a professional flute player from Valencia (Spain) studying 2nd year of Master in Maastricht (The Netherlands) with Philippe Benoit and Valerie Debaele. She is playing concerts with her chamber music groups and as a soloist all around Spain and The Netherlands and also with some professional wind-bands. Working as a freelance flutist.
She has played as a 2nd flute in Liège Symphony Orchestra and she got selected between all the flute students from 3 different conservatoires to play in the “BAM” Symphony Orchestra project.
After many years playing the flute, she started the bachelor of classical music in Castelló de la Plana (Spain) with Josefina Martínez (a well known teacher in Spain) while, at the same time, she was taking private lessons with Salvador Martínez (principal flute in the Symphony Orchestra of Valencia) and also with Magdalena Martínez (principal flute in the Symphony Orchestra of the Valencian Comunity).
When she finished her bachelors in Spain she decided to move to Maastricht to study another bachelors with Philippe Benoit. At the same time she has been taking private lessons with Joshua Batty in the “Royal Northern Academy of Music of Manchester” and also some masterclasses with really well known flutist from Europe.
Her main goal is to keep improving and developing her professional career as a flute player and making other’s life a bit better sharing her music all around.
