Introduction
Hi! I’m Classically and Suzuki trained Violinist, performer and teacher in the lower Westchester/ Greater NYC area and have been freelancing in the area for about four years. I have a small studio and absolutely love teaching as I believe that I become a better player after each lesson I teach. Engaging with the current scene of musicians as much as possible, I have performed with many High School and Amateur theater troupe Musical productions and as well, regional orchestras from Connecticut to New Jersey have hired me as a ringer for their bigger performances. I have had the privilege of working for Interlochen Summer Arts Camp for four Camp Seasons, the first two as Teaching Assistant and second as Teaching Fellow, a junior faculty position; also working as Concertmaster for the Faculty and Staff Pit Orchestra, Interlochen won best Musical Theater Summer Camp for High School Students performing such moving works as Les Miserables. I love session work too: I have recorded with many up-and-coming artists such as Nick Black and Gabrielle Musicaro.

Though I have performed in varying venues, genres, and ensemble configuration, I feel comfortable in any scenario. I am versatile and highly trained to collaborate in Musical Theater, Classical Symphonies, and Session work with Pop, Hip Hop, and Soul artists, not to mention playing solo for birthday parties, weddings, private cocktail hours, etc. The list of independent contracted work is quite endless, as I have a new one weekly.

Teaching Fellow, Music
Same responsibilities as the previous year I held the position, its incentive is only to be held once. However, a shortage of available candidates demanded they call up alumni, so I came to work the job again but the job was not the same completely. In 2014 I was treated as faculty level, but in 2016 Fellows were demoted to being staff level. I was no longer allowed to have a private dorm room and additionally, I held more responsibility than some of the other String faculty. They had not hired enough String Fellows as well, thus the Fellows that were there split the work amongst us but that included each of us having a much larger studio than the rest of the Faculty and making each of our teaching schedules to include days that full Faculty had off. On top of these indignities, we were compensated only in quarter to a starter Faculty position.
