Introduction
I have a life long passion for the sound of the flute, and have been very lucky to have had some legendary teachers. I love passing on the tradition of great flute playing. I love passing on the tradition of great flute playing. I have played in symphony orchestras around the country, recorded albums, performed with chamber music groups, and taught at elementary, middle schools, high schools, and colleges. I enjoy teaching all levels, focusing on developing a beautiful tone, an ear for pitch and rhythm, exposure to the repertoire, and the fun of ensemble playing. I teach in Sonoma County and am available to teach at your place or mine (in Santa Rosa). Right now I have students that I travel to in Cotati, Forestville, Petaluma, and Santa Rosa. Contact me for rates and any questions you might have. I am also available for weddings and other casual gigs, orchestra or chamber music sub.
