Introduction
Charlie Hartman is a passionate and talented horn player from the Greater Indianapolis area. He holds a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Music Performance from Butler University and a Master’s of Music Performance from Ball State University, having studied under Dr. Gail Lewis and Colonel Michael Colburn. Charlie has experience playing in multiple ensembles across the Greater Indianapolis area, including the Scottish Rite Cathedral Symphonic Band, The Cyrus Modern Orchestra, The Hamilton County Community Band, and the Indianapolis Symphonic Band. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music Degree at Ball State University under Dr. Gene Berger. Upon graduating, he plans to pursue a career in the military bands or a with professional symphony orchestra
