Introduction
My name is Chelsea Karpeh and I am a clarinetist currently residing in Charlotte, NC. I’ve been playing for about 11 years and through education have been lucky enough to travel the world in doing so. My traveling was mainly to promote the El Sistema program and to show how music can be an agent of social development and ultimately unite communities. Through those performances I received an invitation to be apart of a quintet to play for the World Alliance for Arts in Education in Auckland, NZ. I briefly taught at Music & Arts during my undergrad while simultaneously working as a Subscription Sales Specialist with the Charlotte Symphony. Within the Charlotte area I’ve had the opportunity to play with CPCC’s Opera Orchestra in their productions of Benjamin Britten and their upcoming show La Boheme. Being a recent graduate I’d love to seek out more performing opportunities to play with other talented musicians and to also cultivate my skills!
