Introduction
Dana is a freelance violinist from Annapolis, MD. She completed her Bachelors of Music from University of Maryland: College Park, where she studied with David Salness. She has played with orchestras in the DC and Baltimore area, such as the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, and has experience in chamber group settings. Additionally, she attended the Brevard Music Festival, the Masterworks Festival, and the Philadelphia International Music Festival, where she studied with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
Currently, Dana is earning her Masters of Music at Florida State University where she holds an assistantship in violin studio teaching under Corinne Stillwell. She also plays full-time with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra as a member of the first violin section, and has played church and wedding gigs in the surrounding area.
