Introduction

Dear Candidate,

I took my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree both in Armenia and USA.

I have 5 years of international pedagogical and performing music experience.

I teach violin for all grades but the guitar and piano from prep till 4-th exam level

included I can teach ukulele as well and music theory for all grades. I have been teaching with ABRSM, Trinity, and Suzuki methods. I have been organizing various group ensembles with school students to perform at concerts, festivals, and recitals in diverse cultural events.

I have received my education in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia, and continued my graduation in the USA.
Since studying years in the music school, college, conservatory I have studied with excellency. I have participated in the classroom, county, regional concerts and in other cultural events, festivals either with solo performances or with chamber ensemble performances playing creations of composers of baroque,
classic, romantic, modern periods (Vivaldi, Handel, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Lalo, Mendelsohn, Tchaikovsky and etc…..)
Since Musical school years, I have always participated in annual report-concerts where the best pupils of the school had been represented with performances.

In 1999 I was awarded the third-class prize in the Classical Instrumental Performing Category within the State-regional level in town Kapan Armenia.

I have participated in the class concerts in the field of Chamber Ensemble and solo concerts and individual performances with the students in various concert programs and with diverse ensemble staff in the cities Yerevan and Kapan and other regions of the Republic of Armenia.

As for being a full-established musician, one can not be limited to solo-concerts, and becoming an ensemble musician is also necessary for the person’s activity in the field of Orchestral Playing.

I have not stopped my concert playing activities even after graduating from the conservatory. I have been performing solo and ensemble concerts, even more, I have been gathering musical instrumental ensembles, bands consisted of different instrumental players to organize and realize cultural events, concerts, and creative innovative programs. I am also fond of theater and I write play -writings for

musical-theatrical performances and to stage those. I have organized theatrical ceremonies under classic music performances which have been regarded to serious attention acclaims by Musicians and Theatrical representatives.

Parallel to this, I have been engaged in pedagogical activity working in musical schools teaching pupils either violin or guitar. Having been engaged in the pedagogical activity I have come up to the conclusion that the musician must not be limited only to concert activity or only with pedagogical activity. The combination of both of those is a very important and necessary factor for being realized as a professional

musician. During my teaching working experience, I have worked with two directions to develop students both individually -solo recital playing and in group ensemble playing. Work individually on each student first of all means develop technical playing skills of the instrument whereas, ensemble group classes are more helpful for students’ taste, ensemble playing sense and understanding development meanwhile

recognizing different composers’ performing style requirements. So in my opinion general philosophy of group and individual teaching is a mandatory and complementary factor to enroll students in both types of lessons.

I had an experience participating in the Traveling Notes international festival in 2011 in Armenia, Melodies of peace youth international orchestra festival in Georgia., 2012, World national museum 8-th festival 2013, AIESEC cultural exchange workshops in Lithuania, 2014 and Kansas Emporia KMEA Teachers’ association workshop-concerts, 2015, Madison Bach Musicians’ Association Workshop 2017.

I took Graduate studies in Music Education at SLU (Southeastern Louisiana University) where I was giving violin classes to students. I played at Emporia State University Beach, Alberta Halls in SLU Symphony Orchestra presented several concerts at Columbia Theater of Hammond, LA as well as I have played in KMEA Music Educators, Association concerts in Kansas and Wichita receiving appreciation certificate award. I have worked in Emporia State University Chamber orchestra as a concertmaster and as an assistant of concertmaster at Emporia Symphony Orchestra performing concert tours in diverse cities’ concert halls.

As a person, I am hardworking, cooperative, purposeful, motivated, devoted, with a high sense of responsibility and creative grace. I like to play and organize ensembles and currently working with students I promote and organize ensemble performances for my students and help in organizational questions of realization school cultural programs’ for inside and outside events.
