Introduction
Eva Kochenkova was born in Tchaikovsky town in Russia, where she started her musical education at age of 6, with collaboration from the “Special Music School” in Moskow, with Prof. Galina Zubareva.
From the age of 9 she was a First Prize winner in several national competitions.
Later she continued her education at the Moscow Gnesing High School with Prof. Galina Zubareva, under the consultation of Prof. Natalia Schakhovskaya.
At the age of 18 Eva Kochenkova got the position as Solo Cellist in the Chamber Orchestra “Guido Cantelli”
At the same time she continued her education in the soloist class with Prof. Rocco Fillipini at Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Milano and later with Prof. Karine Georgian in Venezia.
She was employed as a Photo model by the Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani.
She continued her education as a cellist by studying with Prof. Johannes Goritzki at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Dusseldorf.
She continued her education in soloist class at the Danish Royal Academy of Music.
Eva took a several master classes with the most leading cellists, as a Mstislav Rostropowitch, Wolfgang Böttcher, David Geringas.
She was then employed as a solo cellist in the “European Music Project” Ensemble in Germany, United Europe Chamber Orchestra, Milan, Italy, Ensemble Instrumental with George Vassilev guitar and James Crabb accordion in Sion, Switzerland
As a Soloist and chamber musician Eva Kochenkova performs regulary at P&O Music Festival at Sea hosted by BBC presenter Richard Baker.
She is a member of the “Forum Musicum” Piano Quartet and Wiener Trio- Elegie with the violinist Søren Elbæk and pianist Morten Mogensen.
Eva Kochenkova released her debut Solo CD on the German-Danish label CDklassisk, which was nominated as “Record of the Month”, and got greatest critic Award:
