Introduction

Hello and Welcome!

I am very honoured to introduce myself here, I am Gabriella Csikhon, a Hungarian freelance flautist and teacher, with great passion for orchestral performance and sharing my knowledge. I play on this wonderful instrument since I am 8 years old, and had the privilege to learn from the finest artists and professors like Henrik Prőhle, Eszter Alföldy-Boruss, Susan Milan and Noémi Győri just to mention a few.

In 2014 I achieved my artistic diploma at the Vienna Conservatory in Vienna, Austria, then I have been accepted to the Gothenburg University’s Music Academy for the Orchestral Master Program.  I have completed 1 year there and I will continue the rest in Germany from next year.

I had excellent opportunities to perform with great orchestras, at the moment I am part of the National Russian Opera and Ballet, touring in France 6-8 months per year, and the rest of the year I am freelancing and teaching. I have came to teaching because my colleagues had encouraged me a lot, convinced me to share my knowledge besides performing, and I must say, I have quite enjoyed it. Teaching has taught me well too, it is fascinating how much we can learn by teaching another person. At the end, that is why I have decided to join the audition cafe website, where I can be discovered worldwide and I can also discover worldwide. Connect with my fellow flautists out there, helping, teaching and performing. They say, humans are learning until the very end of our lives, myself included, so if you are interested what I have learned so far, then you are more then welcome to book a lesson with me! I am more then happy to help you!

Are you looking for a flautist for orchestra, chamber music,or a gig? Then feel free to book me as a musician as well! I would be more then happy to share my artistic, performing abilities too!
