Introduction

Started the music studies at Villa-Lobos Music School in Rio de Janeiro, with professor Omar Cavalheiro. Participated in the Youth Academy of Petrobrás Symphony Orchestra for two years, having lessons with Felipe Prazeres (orchestra practice) and Tony Botelho (doublebass). Later on, joined the undergratuate course at UNIRIO with Antonio Arzolla. Nowadays, is the Principal Doublebassist at Cesgranrio Symphony Orchestra and integrates the strings chamber group Camerata de Esquina, wich has awarded the first place in the II Chamber Music Competition of UNIRIO and the third place at the renowed 56º Villa-Lobos Festival’s Chamber Music Competition. With that group, also performed in festivals in Québec (Canada) and in diverse regions in Brazil.
