Introduction
I’m a professional violinist based out of Chicago. I hold undergrad degrees from Oberlin College and Oberlin Conservatory and a MM from Northwestern University. I currently play in the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and am also the Artistic Director of The Zafa Collective, a new music ensemble. I have three years of teaching experience and am comfortable teaching a wide range of abilities, from complete beginners to older students preparing for college auditions and various competitions. I have played with other area ensembles including the Madison Symphony, Illinois Symphony, and West Michigan Symphony, and have been featured as a soloist with the South Loop Symphony and Northwestern’s Baroque Music Ensemble and Contemporary Music Ensemble.
