Introduction
Jeremy Henman is a senior Music Education student at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, where he studies trumpet under Dr. Bruce Briney. While at WIU, Jeremy has performed with the WIU Symphony Orchestra, the WIU Wind Ensemble, and the WIU Jazz Studio Orchestra. He has also performed with several local symphony orchestras and big bands in the area, including the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra, the Quincy Symphony Orchestra, and the Bullis-Rutter Big Band. Jeremy will be student teaching in the spring of 2018, and afterwards will be pursuing a career as a music teacher in the midwest region. Jeremy is a member of the Kappa Psi Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a National men’s music fraternity, where he served as the chapter secretary from 2015-2016 and the chapter president from 2016-2017.
