Introduction
Jesus Moreno was born in Níjar (Spain), where he started his studies in music at the age of 8, first playing tuba and later switching to trombone. In 2011 he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the “Conservatorio Superior de Música Victoria Eugenia de Granada”. In 2014 he obtained his Master’s Degree with Great Distinction at the “Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel” with the professor Bart van Nieuwenhuyze.
Since 2014, Jesus has been an international freelance bass and tenor trombone player with many professional symphony orchestras and ensembles.
In 2009 he started his teaching career in different music schools, such as “Escuela Municipal de Música de Níjar”, “Escuela Municipal de Música de Albolote”, “Escuela Municipal de Música de Berja”, where he was the Head of the Brass Department Teacher. Nowadays, and besides his perfoming career, Jesus gives private lessons and is one of the brass teachers at the International School of Brussels.
He has completed his education with private teachers such as: Brandt Attema, Bart van Nieuwenhuyze, Martin Reinhardt, Francisco José Pérez and Pedro Pastor.
