Introduction
Katelyn Lienhart is a freelance performer and educator who currently resides in Akron, OH. Originally from Michigan, Katelyn has obtained degrees in both flute performance and music education from Central Michigan University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in flute performance at the University of Akron. Katelyn currently plays flute and piccolo with the University of Akron Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, Flute Ensemble, and the Lunaris Quintet.
As a woodwind specialist, Katelyn has extensive experience playing in orchestral pits as a doubling musician on flute, clarinet, and saxophone. She has been playing in pit orchestras for seven years, and her most recent performances include Cinderella, Bye Bye, Birdie, Annie, and Cabaret.
