Introduction

My name is Dr. Kim Chai. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Bassoon Performance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, completed in 2016. I have studied with Dr. Janis McKay, Mr. Saxton Rose, Dr. Christin Schillinger, and Ms. Susan Brown. My doctoral document is titled “An Annotated Bibliography of Beginning and Intermediate Solo Bassoon Repertoire,” which I hope to get into publication soon.

Hodge Products is a double reed specialty store. I worked with lots of bassoon equipment and products, especially testing and comparing cane for making reeds.
