Introduction
My name is Lucas Waitkus. I am a freelance percussionist located in New Jersey. I have been playing percussion for 13 years, with ten of those years playing seriously in various honor bands and professional ensembles. My primary instrument is timpani, but I am no stranger to the rest of the section as I am proficient in playing all orchestral percussion instruments. I have one year of experience teaching students of all skill levels and ages. Through teaching, I hope to help young musicians discover their passion for music as well as inspire them to pursue their dream career as I have.
