Introduction
As a flutist I have lived all over the country and experienced the joys of playing chamber and orchestral music with many different musicians. I have worked to refine my skills both as a soloist in recital and as an ensemble player. Teaching has shown me the joy of music, and how connecting to young musicians and passing down the craft of flute playing is a form of expression that is desperately needed to connect us as humans.

Co-principal flute
Together with other Washington DC area professional musicians, we performed seasonal benefit concerts to improve access to private lessons and music curriculum in both the New Orleans, Louisiana, area and the Baltimore, Maryland, area. These concerts included performances of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, Bruckner’s Ninth Symphony, and others.
