Introduction

Miranda Janse is a passionate harpplayer who mainly plays classical music. She was born in The Netherlands and started her harplessons at 9 in The Netherlands and currently she lives in the capital city of classical music, Vienna, Austria. She felt in love with the beautifull sound of the harp when she saw for the first time a harp. Also the way of making music by playing harp she felt in love with. Later she got more and more into the orchestra sound and the role that the harp has in the orchestra that she decided that working in the orchestra would be the dream job for her. At the moment she is mainly playing in the Slovak Sinfonietta and is also invited to do the solo harpconcerto from Boïeldieu with the same orchestra. At the same time she also is doing her master studies with Anneleen Lenaerts, the harpplayer from the Wiener Philharmonic.

Also she would like to share this passion by teaching. As a teacher she can help them to be able to play what they want to play. I can show them why some excersises are needed to do that and so for the rest we can make fun and music.
