Introduction

Nikita Solberg is a New York City based French Horn player and currently performs as a substitute musician with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Brevard Symphony Orchestra, and the Albany Symphony Orchestra. These engagements have included concerts with guests soloists Andrea Bocelli, Kathleen Battle, and Bernadette Peters. Nikita regularly substitutes with many organizations in New York City such as the Greenwich Village Orchestra, Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra, and the newly created New Conductors Orchestra.

Nikita completed their Masters in Orchestral Performance at Lynn Conservatory and studied with Gregory Miller, previously of the Empire Brass. Past instructors have included Brice Andrus of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and James Nickel of the National Symphony Orchestra. Nikita was recently appointed an Associate Artist with the Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass and performed with the ensemble on their Northeast tours in 2019 and 2020.
