Introduction

As a musician, I have started my violin education at the age of 8 at one of the leading conservatories in Turkey; Istanbul University State Conservatory. I have continued my education at this institution and received Master degree, always achieving high honors. I am proud to say that now am an academic member of the same institution, teaching violin as an instructor.

I performed as member of most of the leading orchestras in Turkey such as Akbank Chamber Orchestra, Tekfen Philharmonic Orchestra, Cemal Resit Rey Symphonic Orchestra and Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra. Since 2008, I have been the assistant principle of second violins in the famous Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra which performed in BBC Proms in 2014. I still play as the concertmaster in the Milli Reasurans Chamber Orchestra.

I am involved as an academician in my institute, Istanbul University State Conservatory where I am a research member and a violin teacher. My students are among between 7 and 12 years old and I encourages my students for active concerts and masterclasses. My doctoral proposals are concentrated and narrowed in technical difficulties of violinistic approach such as the use of 4th finger exercises and approach with shoulder rest.

As a violinist, I give recitals and get together with various musicians and perform regularly in chamber music concerts. One of my goals has always been to grow as a violinist. I always strive for the best. In this prospect, I have participated in masterclasses with Izak Rashkovsky, Vadim Gluzman, Shlomo Mintz and Ernst Kovacic.

I will move to London in January.
