Introduction
Ofer Cohen is a Freelance Bass Trombonist in the Phoenix area. He recently finished his BM in trombone performance at the Pennsylvania State University and is currently in his second year of his masters degree in trombone performance at Arizona State University. As a classical musician, Ofer has performed with the Altoona Symphony Orchestra, the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra and the Penn State Symphonic Wind ensemble in addition to the Penn State Orchestra. Furthermore, Ofer enjoys playing with his brass quintet, Palo Verde Brass, and the Concert Jazz band at ASU. He has attended the Cleveland trombone Seminar for three years.
As well as performing, Ofer has taught at Camp Encore Coda for two years and loves teaching music and trombone. His primary teachers are Ken Wolff, Mark Lusk, and Brad Edwards.
