Introduction
Penelope completed her undergraduate degree in academic music at Durham University before becoming a postgraduate performance scholar at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. Penelope has played in chamber and cross collaborative groups as well as larger ensembles and orchestras – including side-by-side schemes with the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Philharmonia. Penelope has performed at the British Isles Music Festival, Snape Proms and Sound Unbound amongst other festivals. She has played at notable UK venues including The Glasshouse, The Barbican, LSO St Luke’s, Maida Vale Studios and Cadogan Hall. Alongside performing, people offers oboe and piano teaching, performance coaching and accompaniment, theory and academic tuition – as well as having an interest in music for social change through community and charitable workshops and projects, Street Orchestra Live and the Nevis Ensemble.
