Introduction
Sarah Thompson is a freelance trombonist and teacher from the Greater Pittsburgh Area. She has had the opportunity to perform with The Altoona Symphony Orchestra (PA), The Loudoun Symphony (VA), The Dover Symphony (DE), Riverside Center for the Performing Arts (VA), Stage Right (PA), Mon River Arts (PA), The State Theater Center for the Arts (PA), Carmichael’s Performing Arts Center (PA), and Chesapeake Brass Band (DE). Sarah Thompson is a freelance trombonist and teacher from the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Music Degree in Trombone Performance from the University of Delaware. She is currently working on her Doctorate of Musical Arts at the Shenandoah Conservatory. Her primary teachers include Chris Hornick, Christian Dickinson, Bruce Tychinski, Justin Moore, Matt Niess, and Jeff Cortazzo.
