Introduction
Hello!
My name is Simon Semaan, and I have been a musician for over fourteen years. I started my studies in 2006 as a violinist in my elementary school orchestra. I made the switch over to the upright bass in the year 2008, and I started teaching myself the cello in the year 2019. I currently play all three of the instruments mentioned above.
I have been a Music Specialist at a local music school since the Fall of 2019, where I am qualified to teach violin, cello, and bass. However, at the moment I teach only violin and piano. In the past, I have also taught cello, but I do not currently have any cello students.
Outside of teaching, I play with a local community orchestra where I am a member of the bass section. I have been playing with this orchestra since the spring of 2019, and I still play with them today. I enjoy playing with them very much, and I hope to be able to continue playing with them for the foreseeable future.
In conclusion, over the span of my career, I have learned a lot, and I have experienced a lot. I have had many accomplishments, and I have made many memories. I still have the passion of sharing all of that with others, whether in the form of teaching or playing with fellow musicians. My hope is to, one day, be able to play professionally with an orchestra where I would have the opportunity of continuing to share my passion for music on the grandest stage possible!
Thank you in advance for your time, and I look forward to speaking with you in the near future.
Sincerely,
-Simon Semaan
