Introduction
Hi there! I am a recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music (’25DMA, Jazz Studies & Contemporary Media), and I maintain performance, jazz, big band, and research interests across many areas of music. Recent projects include analyses of music by Maria Schneider, Richard Strauss, and Duke Ellington, and historical research on the history of the big band, the politics of Coltrane’s “My Favorite Things,” and Fanny Hensel’s engagement with German Romanticism in her vocal music. I have performed with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Temptations, the Four Tops, national Broadway tours, and the flagship Eastman jazz ensembles, among others.
