Upon the advice of my worldclass violin teacher and mentor, I resumed my music studies at this university. Before and during and after my education there, I performed and toured regularly with a Major Symphony Orchestra, the North Carolina Symphony- this was purely professional work. I performed as a section player with the Winston-Salem Symphony while studying there, but not as a core musician.

Res Ipsa Loquitor
After not receiving appropriate orchestral training at the previous university, I was advised by my worldclass violin teacher and mentor, to take viola studies at this university. My solo career almost began during my studies there, but I decided I wanted to be an orchestral performer and so I moved on. I took lessons with different musicians in major symphony orchestras upon the conclusion of my studies there.

Self-Employed

1996-2007
Violin/Viola Teacher
I will open up my private studio to students again when I have gained a titled orchestral position which covers my standard of living. At the moment I’m not able to afford to teach my craft. Before the cessation of my violin/viola teaching studio, I had helped many students to win their local youth orchestra auditions and had a student reach the college level in viola performance. I only taught to give back to the community when I was able to.
