Introduction
Born and raised in Varna on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, I’ve done my introducing steps in the world of music at the age of 6 playing the piano. 10 years old I had my first bassoon lesson, which played a decisive role for my future.
Completely thrilled with this music instrument, I laid the foundation for my education at the National School of Arts. Over the course of the years I had many concerts as a soloist and became a laureate of many solo and chamber music competitions as well as coveted awards and scholarships for highly-gifted artists.
In 2008 I moved to Germany to enhance my knowledge and to deepen my skills. Therefore I continued with studies at the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar and completed them later at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts.
As a bassoonist I had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in different orchestras and to receive essential guidelines from acknowledged musicians like David Petersen, Sergio Azzolini, Frank Forst, Lyndon Watts etc.
Beyond my teaching in several music schools, I am performing solo as well as with my colleagues from Trio Senso and Trio Alius.
