Introduction
He was born in Paraná (Brazil) in 1994. He started his higher musical education in 2012 at the School of Music and Fine Arts in Paraná (EMBAP), under the guidance of maestro Giampiero Pilatti. Later on he studied with Jessica Dalsant. He also has received masterclasses from Emannuel Pahud, Emily Beynon, Michel Belavance, among others. Since 2016, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music in the Flute Chair, with Professor Jacques Zoon. In 2018 he was handed in by HM Queen Sofía the Diploma to the most outstanding student of his chair. He enjoys a Sylvia Nabuco tuition and accommodation scholarship. Vinicius has participated in several national competitions, including Prelúdio and Pre-Estreia in TV Cultura. In 2015 he won the second prize and was also selected as a revelation in the 3rd Young Performers Competition of the Goiás Philharmony Orchestra. He has performed in the Curitiba, Santa Catarina and SESC International Music Festivals. He has been flautist and piccoloist with the Parana Symphony Orchestra from 2013 to 2015, soloist of the Ponta Grossa Symphony Orchestra from 2011 to 2014 and soloist with the Wind Ensemble of the Oficina de Música de Curitiba in 2016. He has been member of the School’s Harmonie Ensemble and the Orfeo Quintet and Sextet. He currently is part of the Casa de la Moneda Scarlatti Ensemble and Quintet.
