Introduction
My name is Vojtěch Šindelář and I am a student from Prague, Czech Republic. I graduated from an Italian Czech and American High School and I have 3 High School diplomas (Czech, Italian, American)
I am a cello player with both solo and orchestra experience. I studied 10 years under an awesome teacher Kateřina Hroníková and then continued under dr. Joseph Rodgers from Minnesota State University, while abroad. I participated in a number of competitions, some international, never coming worse than 3rd.
As far as my experience goes, I have played in a number of orchestras and I performed at the most famous Czech venues such as the Rudolphinum, the Municipal House, the Congress Hall, the Lucerna Hall, the Karlín Forum, Estates Theatre (National Theatre) etc.
I have experience of playing large repertoire, from classical music, ballet, throughout modern, jazz and film music. I also performed as a soloist accompanied by an orchestra. Besides orchestra player I am also a musician for hire, playing on weddings, some fundraisers, cultural events(Italian Embassy etc.) etc. I played for the Italian ambassador and many other people.
I do have experience with work in English and Italian. I taught the English language in an international learning agency Tutor abc.
