Introduction
Violinist Yeonji Shim received her degrees in violin performance from Yonsei University(South Korean, BM) and Indiana University(MM). Currently, she is continuing her degree at Mannes with professor Todd Phillips. She won several music competitions in Korea and was a member of Seoul Metropolitan Youth Orchestra. Also, She participated and played in One month festival, Spain Forum Musikae Festival, Academie internationale d’ete de Nice in France. She made her solo debut at Seoul Arts Center with Anima Chamber Orchestra, and has collaborated as solist with several orchestras such as Sunhwa Arts Orchestra and Yonsei University String Orchestra.
